Features of the Flashcal+ ("Flashcal Plus"), aka, Why the 'Plus'?
So, where's the "plus" in Flashcal+? The combination of Flashcal+'s wireless dongle and app is every bit as powerful as the existing "F5" series Flashcal, but enhanced with the smooth interface of your smartphone's touchscreen, freedom from running cables with a Bluetooth connection, and excellent on-the-fly controls and monitoring.

This means Flashcal+ ("Flashcal Plus") for Wrangler JK 3.8L/3.6L, Wrangler JL 3.6L/2.0T, and Gladiator 3.6L is WIRELESS! Superchips is proud to announce that our newest generation of electronic calibrator is a powerful combination of smartphone app and Bluetooth dongle to tap into a vehicle's OBD-II. Flashcal+ isn't another device to make a quick change and toss back on the shelf. Our engineers have provided the exceptionally fast Quick Options Superchips devices are known for and acts as a live interface to your Jeep's electronics for constant access to control and view data.

CRAWL Screen for Jeep
While active, CRAWL functions as drivetrain's command center with live and on-the-fly interface and no need to stop and reprogram the BCM, all through the touchscreen of your smartphone.

Rubicon owners can use CRAWL to quickly activate the rear locker in 2WD or 4WD, front and/or rear lockers in 4-Hi, and extend the allotted window of 25 mph for activated lockers all the way to 55 mph. CRAWL will also override the factory limitation on sway bar control to allow disconnecting it in 2Hi, up to 25 MPH. For all JL and JT Rock Lock and Line Lock will hold brakes on 4 wheels or 2 wheels respectively, and deactivate instantly with a tap of the screen.

Anyone who's gone off-roading in a late-model vehicle knows that you can no longer give a quick twist to a throttle cable with a screwdriver to raise idle speed when more RPM is needed for winching or running lights with a heavy amperage draw. Available for all supported Jeeps, CRAWL's idle adjust bumps the idle as high as the 2000 RPM mark as long as you need it, and can be adjusted up or down as often as you like, then returned to stock in single moment.

Tire Size Wizard
We all know that getting the specs to correctly to calibrate your speedometer can be a pain. In the old days it was counting teeth on a plastic gear at the end of a speedometer cable, and praying you get it close enough to avoid a ticket.

Superchips has taken a lot of the math out of user's responsibility with our calibration devices, but smartphones have given us a huge leg up. Using the GPS signal on the app's host phone, the Tire Size Wizard can calculate tire rotations and "tell" the speedometer what value to use using the vehicle's actual land speed. This means no measuring tire height with a tape, and you don’t even have to get out of your Jeep.

(You can still enter tire size by height the old-fashioned if you want.)

Semi-Permanent Auto Start/Stop disable for JL and Gladiator
Auto-Start stop is a part of life with many new vehicles, and just as many users find it genuinely irritating. Some other methods of turning it off involve removing the hood sensor to trick the vehicle's PCM into activating Auto A/S. Flashcal+ has a way around that, because it can be left connected to your OBD-II port at all times. When selected, Auto Start/Stop stays fully disabled, even after stopping the engine and restarting, as long as the dongle is connected.

Customizable live gauge display
Your vehicle's PCM is designed to track an enormous amount of data as it keeps your engine firing on all cylinders. FC+'s customizable virtual gauges lets you keep tabs on important data, create your own layouts, and even pick their display type like a traditional round gauge, digital, or linear graph.

Full Diagnostics
Use FC+ to read and clear trouble codes as well as a mechanic, and click once to see explanations of each code. Once you've addressed the issue, the app will clear those codes in seconds.

Integrated Info Screens
Not sure what an option on your menu means or what kind of effect it will have before you make the change? Flashcal+ was designed so that anyone can just open the app and immediately get to adjustments, and the data you’ll need as you go is always one touch away. The small 'i' icon on every line can be tapped to display an informative description to quickly fill the user in on what each function is, and how it will affect your vehicle.

Gateway Bypass Module (included in all kits for this application) must be installed while any adjustment or tuning is being performed on this vehicle.

Important Notes:
-3.0 EcoDiesel and right-hand drive model Jeeps are not currently supported
-Most adjustments FC+ applies to your Jeep do not require the dongle TO be left plugged in to remain as selected by user
-Auto Start/Stop disable requires the dongle be left connected to keep system off between key cycles
-Settings entered in CRAWL only remain as entered with dongle plugged in and FC+ App running.
